An Israeli-born dentist and married with three children, Dr. Markovitch started his training in cosmetic dentistry over 20 years ago in Israel. He continued his training in the United States at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, as well as in countless continuing education courses. His belief is that informed patients are better prepared to make the right decision regarding their oral health and well-being.

Dr. Markovitch takes the time to thoroughly explain all the stages of the treatment to his patients, as well as what options are available in modern dentistry. Dr. Shay Markovitch is a certified Invisalign® and Lumineers® provider. Utilizing his skills to create beautiful smiles for his patients is one of his priorities because he believes that a smile is a mirror to the soul. When not performing dentistry, Dr. Markovitch enjoys sports, specifically soccer and basketball; however, he usually prefers to spend his time with his wonderful wife and three children.

Dr. Deborah Gortler Shukovsky is a three time graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from dental school in 2004. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weil Cornell Medical Center and then postgraduate training in Endodontics at UPENN. Following completion of her Endodontic program, Dr. Gortler settled in New York City.

Victor Terranova, has a long and distinguished career in the field of dentistry. His expertise spans four decades in dentistry, having owned his own practice, previously holding a staff position at the National Institutes of Health and Columbia University, and is President of Cytotaxis, Inc. and Chief Scientific Officer for Contran Medical Technologies. Dr. Terranova performs all the oral surgery, implants, extractions. and maxillo-facial surgeries needed at the practice. He holds a dual degree having trained in all major maxillofacial surgical procedures. He has plastic surgery training and oral pathology training. In his spare time, Dr. Terranova enjoys skiing competitively, racing at Lime Rock, and participating in competitive tennis.

Dr. Terranova has a praticular interest in implants for immune compromised patients. He has successfully placed implants in patients that have bone loss due to radiation therapy. He also performs gum grafts, periodontal surgery, crown lengthening, periodontal scaling and he has successfully treated TMJ in many patients suffering from bruximsm and other issues.

Dr. Victor Terranova received his B.A .from Rutgers College of Rutgers University in New Jersey. He received his D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1972 and his MS. and Ph.D in Molecular Biology at the University of Rochester in 1978. Specialty training in Periodontolgy was completed at the Eastman Dental Center of Strong Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the University of Rochester under the mentor of Dr. Helmut A. Zander in 1976.

After his training, Dr. Terranova spent seven years as Senior Staff at the National Institute of Health and National Institute of Dental Research.

Dr. Terranova is committed to providing his patients with precision in his technique as well the neccessary experience that is need in solving complex periodontal issues in patients with other co-morbidities. He has over 40 years experience in periodontics and oral surgery. He has placed thousands of implants throughout a 40 year career and is one of the most educated and accomplished periodontists and oral surgeons in the New York area.

Dr. Ali Hedyati was born in Tehran, Iran. He attended the University of Colorado Boulder for College and following graduation he attended NYU College of Dentistry, New York where he earned his DDS degree.

Dr. Hedayati also returned to the New York University to complete his General Practice Residency as well as to pursue Post Graduate Specialty Program in Periodontics. Dr. Hedayati then entered private practice in 1990. As a dedicated and loving father of 2 children, Dr. Hedayati has many interests outside of Periodontics. He enjoys skiing, hiking, and swimming.

Dr. Singh attended Adelphi University for undergraduate studies and he is a 2008 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following his graduation, Dr.Singh completed a One year General Practice Residency at New York Hospital in Queens NY.

Dr. Singh is proficient in all phases of General Dentistry. He is especially passionate about Cosmetic Dentistry, Fixed Bridges and Dental Implants.

Dr. Singh’s patient philosophy is geared towards patients comfort. Understanding of Dental treatment and establishing optimum oral health.

Dr. Singh completed the MaxiCourse at Rutgers University - a continuing education program that honed in on his dental implant placement skills.

Dr. Singh is also licensed to do enteral sedation and received his accreditation from NYU and is an associate fellow of AAID (American Academy of Implant Dentistry).
